Phone scams aimed at patients are becoming more common. Callers may pretend to be Medicare, an insurer, a doctor’s office, or another clinic. The goal is to obtain a Medicare number or other personal information.

Twila J. Engeman, Ph.D., holds an M.S. and is an LPC-A, LCDC, and NCC. LPC clinical work is supervised by Sarah Lorenz, Psy.D., LPC-S. She earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Walden University.

Dr. Engeman is deeply passionate about the counseling process. She is committed to creating a caring, supportive environment where clients feel truly heard and understood. Dr. Engeman helps clients identify practical, real-life solutions that support growth. She supports clients navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem and confidence building, work-related problems, alcohol/drug usage, and more. Dr. Engeman believes past hurts should not stop one from living their life and aids clients in finding healing for their future with clarity and purpose.

She has worked in inpatient, outpatient, private practice, and community settings.
