Phone scams aimed at patients are becoming more common. Callers may pretend to be Medicare, an insurer, a doctor’s office, or another clinic. The goal is to obtain a Medicare number or other personal information.

Psychology Care Associates is based in Southlake. Dr. Riedo and the psychologists in our practice see adults by telehealth throughout Texas. The work is the same from a private place the patient already has.

Across Texas, adults reach for therapy and counseling for different reasons that often land in the same practice. A partner who found out and cannot sleep. A person whose pornography use or affairs have taken over the house. Someone who is not sure what to call what is happening, only that life at home has changed and the old ways of talking about it no longer hold. Sexual addiction, pornography addiction, infidelity, and betrayal trauma are Dr. Riedo’s specialty. Anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship strain that has grown harder to carry alone are treated in the practice as well. Telehealth means the work can begin from wherever the adult already is in Texas, without a drive across town.
